We've had lots of people asking about Halloween. The volunteers are currently working with South Ayrshire Council to see if we can get permission to host the pumpkin trail. The provisional dates will be Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October. Hopefully be able to confirm in the next few weeks 🎃

Troon Summer Carnival update. 18 & 19 August
To get to barassie beach you can access it from Troon railway station and Barassie station . There is a public car park opposite the swimming pool on North shore . Another public car park in middle of beach . There are portaloos on site . The barassie chippie is nearby also . On the sat night we have some live music to entertain you if you need a break from the carnival fairground. Bring a picnic blanket and make a day of it . We are arranging some hay bales as a seating area. Great rides and a weekend of fun before the schools go back .

The route of the Fullarton Fairy Trail You start at the tree opposite the toilets , down the grass to the memory tree and pass Fullarton the bear carving. Take a book and stop at the storytelling chair for story time. Carry on and cross the path to a seated area . Up the path turn left at the rock past the jail fairy door and then right to go up the side of a field , through the brick arch and across the 2nd field takes you back into main woods. Go up to the left and there are the final doors and the grand fairy house carving, then back to the playpark you won't get lost. The trail is free as it's within a public park. Car park and toilets on site . The town of Troon is a few minutes drive with lovely cafes and stunning beach . A great day out x

What an amazing memory making experience for my husband and I to share with our girls who are 6 and 4 months!!! The baby particularly loved being under the memory tree and seeing all the coloured ribbons and our 6 year old showed our her fantastic reading skills, by reading all the stars to her baby sister!! The trail was very muddy but added to the fun!!! We definitely returned as "believers"!! Will definitely be back!!! Thank you for this wonderful experience!!!

User

We’ve been on lots of occasions and always had a fab time went today and it was brilliant fairy flump was hilarious and really made it. Thank you again

User

We went today for the first time and we all absolutely loved it. It was very muddy but we had wellies and waterproofs on so was fine. We saw a large bird of prey hunting which the children thought was brilliant and the fairy wishes trees and little fairy houses and added things to go in and look at was so magical. They loved the throne!!

My 2yo and 4yo loved finding the fairy houses and fairy doors, all with much excitement. The snowdrops are out and they carpet most of the woods which means it is simply stunning. A truly magical place, well thought out and signposted to follow the trail. We will definitely be back with my older two children too so we can all experience the magic.

User
