About Funeral Photography Services

Funeral Photography Services

Losing a loved one is never easy and the sorrow, grief and pain we feel can be overwhelming. At such a difficult time, the funeral service is an important way to remember and pay tribute to the life of a loved one and a dignified way to say goodbye.
My experiences have helped me understand the comfort and benefits of having a visual memento of this day and how these can greatly assist in the grieving process. This is a responsibility that I undertake with courtesy, care and professionalism.
I have established a reputation within the community by providing families with a personalised and compassionate service. My belief is that personal service is of paramount importance, and working closely with utmost discretion and in co-operation with the Funeral Director and the Family are the foundations of my day to day practice
It is a privilege to help others say farewell to their loved ones and I hope by producing a book of appropriate and meaningful photographs for you to treasure as a memory of the deceased I help with your grief

BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING

Bereavement affects people in different ways and the death of a loved one can often be devastating. There's no right or wrong way to feel but generally it is accepted that there are four stages of bereavement:
• accepting that your loss is real
• experiencing the pain of grief
• adjusting to life without the person who has died
• moving on (putting less emotional energy into grieving and putting it into something new )
You may well go through all these stages, but not necessarily move smoothly from one to the next. Your grief might feel chaotic and out of control, but these feelings will eventually become less intense.

You do not have to be alone. As an experienced Psychotherapist I have chosen to specialise working with the Bereaved and people with Mental Health issues as I believe it is an area where people can often feel isolated as they have no-one to talk to.
I can give you time and space to talk about your feelings, including the person who has died, your relationship, family, work, fears and the future.
