Future Skills Inverclyde Description

IHAF (River Clyde Homes, Cloch, Oak Tree & Larkfield Housing Associations), in Partnership with Inverclyde Council were awarded Big Lottery funding in 2014 to promote digital and financial inclusion throughout Inverclyde. Since then the Future Skills project has been helping residents of Inverclyde to gain computer training, either within the community or via home visits. Future Skills can also help you to prioritise and manage your finances by helping you to prepare a household budget, tailored to your individual circumstances, and advise you on how to make your money go further.

Our specialist one-to-one Future Skills team can offer training either within your own home or at a local venue, such as a community centre or in one of Inverclyde’s Libraries. We can set you up with an e-mail address, show you how you can use the internet to keep in touch with friends and family and how to browse the internet. We could also guide you through completing and submitting an online form, whether you are subscribing to a newsletter, applying for housing, or for a job. Anything’s easy once you know how, and we’re here to help!
