In memory of our former Board member, the wonderful singer, Maggie MacDonald (Campbells of Greepe), we offer a fully funded place for a Gaelic singer to attend Fèis Rois nan Deugairean. If you would like to apply for the place, please email fiona.dalgetty@feisrois.org outlining why you deserve this opportunity and how you feel it would help you develop your skills and repertoire as a Gaelic singer. Max 250 words. Closing date 12th October. We are very excited to have Mischa Macpherson teaching Gaelic song this year. The Fèis takes place in Ullapool from 22 - 26 October. https://www.feisrois.org/residential-feis ean/senior-feis/

You can now nominate your favourite organisations, artists, albums, events and more in this year's Trad Music Awards. We are delighted to see our commission, The Seer, by Lauren MacColl in the long list for album of the year, as well as The Pipe Slang by our Cultural Tourism Development Officer, Christian Gamauf and his musical duo partner, Jamie MacDonald. Well done to everyone else in the long list too - what a year for exceptional albums - it is some list! https://projects.handsupfortrad.scot/scot stradmusicawards/…/

That was so beautiful & so stirring on the Marr show. Wonderful traditional sound with contemporary edge; even slight hint of jazz maybe? - perhaps its just me that thinks that? Whatever, I so enjoyed that song - Is there a cd or downloads available?

User

Saw The Seer suite premiere at Celtic Connections. Was amazing. Great that talent like Lauren can be supported!

User

Loved this on the Andrew Marr show. Brilliant!
