Gallanach Cottage Description
This idyllic, extended fishermans cottage has a stunning location, sitting in a large enclosed garden, on the foreshore of LochGair an inlet of LochFyne. The small village of Lochgair is scattered along the shore and up the hill towards the hotel which serves excellent food and real ales.
The whitewashed detached cottage has a homely, cosy feel, with five bedrooms accessed by two staircases, two sitting rooms with open fires, bathroom, shower room, kitchen. utility room, and a sun room looking out over the loch.
The area is ideal for walks, either in the hills or beside the sea, with many bike trails nearby, including alongside the Crinan canal. Launch your windsurfer, dinghy or canoe from just outside the house. Visit the delightful towns of Inverary, Lochgilphead or indulge at the Loch Fyne Seafood Restaurant at the head of the loch!
