I stayed here last week for a couple of nights with two children I used to aupair for aged 11 and 13 and it was great! We stayed in a lochside cabin which was basic but clean and comfortable beds and there were two radiators which were very effective and plugs etc. Toilet/shower facilities absolutely stink of wet suits/smelly socks/wet trainers but that's probably to be expected with the kind of activities they have on!
The activities were great. We had lovely instructors for everything. We did climbing and the zip line, mountain biking (first taking a little boat over to somewhere nice to bike), laser tag, paddle boarding and the slide. We all loved everything but our favourite was the laser tag- much better than indoor laser quest! Mountain biking I would have loved without kids, I think it was a but too difficult for the eleven year old really so maybe better for either very fit younger kids or probably better 14+. Slide was great fun and we all loved it.
They have a couple of lovely dogs around the place too, one of whom also enjoyed the slide.
All the staff (harriet, Keighan, Tash, forgotten others sorry!) were so approachable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about whatever they were taking and great with kids and good chat for adults :) there was one guy who was extremely unfriendly and bordering rude on reception (lingering around there, don't think he actually worked there) he was a total mood kill and not helpful at all but I just avoided him and asked the kids to after a few frosty interactions.
The cafe is quite expensive for basic food and service is very slow. Similar prices to Starbucks for coffees/paninis but coffee is just cheap machine stuff. £4.50 for a lentil soup with buttered roll seems quite steep. Would advise taking as much stuff as possible because it was a bit disappointing. There is a nice pub nearby we went to though and we cooked on BBQ on site and took a gas stove and so only actually used cafe once.
All in all would definitely go back and recommend because location is very nice, very quiet, great range of well organised activities and lovely staff :)

Fantastic place for water sports and some land based activities we like to bring our Youth Club here each year for the day and our 8yr to 16yr old kids love it and can't wait to get back.

Been coming here for years. Very family friendly. The annual wild swim is a great weekend!

We decided to visit the GAC on a whim, and phoned in the morning to reserve a "water park" session later that afternoon. They accommodated this no problem (possibly because we're in the tail end of the season and maybe a little quieter).

We needed to bring swimwear, towels and some old trainers, whilst the centre provided the wetsuit, life jacket and helmet (they also provide old trainers if you don't happen to have any).

As the kids enjoyed the 1.5h session playing on the various water obstacles, and guided by 2 enthusiastic instructors, we sat and enjoyed the spectacle from the lake's edge. The surroundings, and in fact the whole length of Loch Ken, are beautiful.

On site there are changing rooms and a cafe. We didn't make use of the cafe, but the changing rooms were fit for purpose if a little small.

Would love to visit again and try a few of the other activities which all looked fun and well-led.

Really great place. Really fun and a lot of activitoes to choose from for both adults and children. Our group did laserquest and archery both of wich were great. The only thing to complain about would be the price, both the entry ticket and in the cafeteria. However the food was great and the staff was really nice. Would strongly recommend.

Took a long time getting there but was worth it..great location and friendly staff that made us very welcome. Enjoyed the activities. Not many places that welcome bigger groups. Looking forward to visiting again and staying in the teepee this time.

We arrived on the Thursday,
The staff were friendly but no one showed us around and told us where stuff was.
The changing rooms were disgusting! The door was always open and you could not shut it due to a rope holding it open.
There was no privacy so I couldn't get changed. The showers had no locks on them and the toilets were broken.
The view was amazing from our pitch.
The instructor for archery on the Sunday was lovely and we had a great time, we had a dip in loch Ken for free after.
We left a day early due to the fact that there was no one around to answer our questions and the weather was looking very bad.
They didn't offer us a day refund and there was no goodbye, just okey.
If you are going for the day it has amazing views but I wouldn't pitch my tent there again. We were the only one's there and it was quiet. I couldn't imagine how crowded it would be as the pitches are right next to each other ! And with the lack of changing rooms and how horrible they were I can't imagine how it would be in there busy season.

New changing rooms or fix the locks and shut the doors.
The washing pots area was broken and dirty
And the expense for pitching a tent was steep to say that your paying to use the bathrooms and water.

Fantastic Instructor and friendly staff
