If you sell calves as stores after weaning in October, or if housing over Winter, it is important to maximise kilos of beef produced over the summer months at grass. Early creep feeding can help improve this, but possibly more importantly, creep feeding can be used as a management tool to help lessen the burden on already thin cows.

Due to continued growth we are recruiting for an ambitious graduate sales nutritionist for the South West of Scotland Region to complement our existing sales team. Your role will be to develop and provide nutritional support for existing accounts, as well as sourcing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
... • Working with farmers to develop and implement livestock nutrition plans • Identify areas of the farm business which could be improved and provide cost effective solutions. • Build and develop business relationships with farmers
A BSc (Hons) in an agriculture-related course will give you an advantage. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants with science-based degrees who also have an agricultural livestock background. You will also be an effective and supportive team player, fully IT literate and enjoy travel. Some sales experience would be helpful.
The successful applicant will receive intensive product and ruminant nutrition training. You will also be supported by an ongoing sales development programme. A car, mobile phone and laptop will be provided.
