Wonderful camp side with wonderful views from the camper van lawn and very friendly owners. Nead and clean facilities and only a short coast walk to a very lovely seafood restaurant (Campbell's in Portpatrick)

Excellent setting. We stayed in our motor home on a grass touring pitch with a sea view.Very ,very clean facilities and a pretty landscaped park which all looked very well maintained. We usually avoid sites with statics but this had a different feel.Very peaceful indeed. The staff we encountered were all very pleasant and helpful.
It is a short cliff top walk into the lovely village of Portpatrick or you can walk along the road.Beautiful views if you choose the cliff walk.Plenty of bars and hotels for dining and drinking and a couple of small shops.
There is a choice of hard standing or grass pitches. The grass pitches are more likely to have the views and the hard standings much closer to the shower and toilet block if that's what you require. We found it only took us two minutes to walk to the block so no problem whatsoever.
The walks we had from the site took us through meadows, bracken and gorse with a wealth of wild flowers, butterflies and birds and of course those views across to Ireland.
We stayed 3 nights and definitely intend to return in the future. One of our favourite sites visited so far.

Just spent a lovely (sunny!) weekend at this site with my tourer.....wee bit of levelling up involved but got the sea view I was hoping for! There's an easy enough cliff walk into Portpatrick to a good choice of bars and restaurants, or visit the pub just across from the site where the food and entertainment were fab! I'll definitely return.

Family friendly, quite and peaceful. surrounded by lush greenery and gorse bush in abundance.
The fantastic little village of Portpatrick is only a short walk from the excellently maintained site. Make sure you walk the cliff path past the castle to take in this stunning wee gem of a place.
