Galloway Woodlands

Galloway Woodlands is a privately run business situated at Lochinvar in the Galloway hills. Apart from being renowned for it's beauty Lochinvar is also known as an area where the soil is very fertile for growing trees and has suitably high rainfall. Our aim is to grow very high quality trees and offer a variety of species and sizes. We grow the traditional style Norway Spruce alongside varieties that have good needle retention like Nordman Fir and Lodgepole Pine. Galloway Woodland's mission is to produce naturally grown, premium grade, Christmas trees for the UK market. We strongly believe that by taking good, free draining land, in the heart of Galloway we can grow some of the best trees in the market as long as we get the key things right.
