EQUINE FLU UPDATE 🤧 🐎 After careful consideration, we recommend that equines attending Gargunnock Show on Saturday 1 June 2019 are vaccinated against Equine Influenza. We are however not insisting that this is a mandatory requirement. We ask all equine exhibitors to adopt a ‘common sense’ approach and exhibitors should not attend the show if any of their equines present with flu like symptoms or are generally ‘under the weather’. If stewards identify any equines showing 'flu like symptoms' at the show they will be asked to leave. Should there be any outbreaks of Equine Influenza locally before the show we will review our policy.

There are a few small amendments to the published schedule for this years show-
Cattle Feeding Stock section: classes 21-24- please note that there are now only 2 classes Class 21 Prime Heifer Class 22 Prime Bullock
... Baking- there is no charge for submitting an entry
Additionally:
Bank of Scotland Rosebowl will be presented to the Overall Sheep Champion this year.

2018 AGM is this Friday at 6pm, in the Lion and Unicorn in Thornhill. Members should have received a letter abd/or email notification. Look forward to seeing you then.

Could Allanah Cormack, or a grown up, please get in touch so that we can get the trophy out to you now that it's been engraved 😊

****CENTRAL SCOTLAND INTER SHOW COMPETITION****
Doune and Dunblane, Drymen, Gargunnock, Stirling and Braco Shows have formed the Central Scotland Inter Show Circuit to work collaboratively to try and ensure the future of our shows whilst encouraging more exhibitors to come along to the 5 shows each year.
As such, there will two inter show competitions for Clydesdales and Highland Ponies. The winner of the Clydesdale section and Highland Pony section will receive £100 prize ...money, a Central Scotland Show Circuit Rosette and free membership to each of the shows for 2019.
We really look forward to welcoming past exhibitors as well as new exhibitors to our shows as a result of the competition.
