The beautifully restored Garrison House takes pride of place in the heart of Millport overlooking the Firth of the Clyde. So our lovely new Café is opening in February and we are proud to now offer exceptional food and drink to everyone at great prices. Our new menu has something for everyone from light bites, healthy options, hearty meals, fresh juices and smoothies, coffees and teas and are sure to be the new toast of the town.

This April in the GHC we have our Chickpea and veg tikka masala, our vegan ciabatta with roasted veggies and our baked potato chilli. All homemade and all delicious.

Beware all the vampires in Millport, todays soup is Wild Garlic and potato soup and it’s really really yummy!
Our Spinach, Pea and watercress soup is proving a real winner in the GHC and it is extremely healthy too. Packed with protein, iron and good for your lungs!
We have homemade Irish Stew served with soda bread and homemade carrot cake muffins for afters. We are in food heaven!!
Forget the weather!!! We have homemade Lasagne, Squash sweet potato and ginger soup and tasty cakes aplenty.

What a lovely cafe ,I'm ceoliac and find it hard to get the food I need ,I got a fantastic toastie gluten free with all the trim complements to the chef ,also the smoothies are amazing I had 2 they were that good !
Weekend on my sister's wee island and marvelous lunches, cakes and coffees in this great cafe. Lovely friendly staff too. I'll be back!
We love to call to Garrison House when we get an opportunity to visit Millport.
Last week we enjoyed a delicious bowl of lentil soup and roasted vegetable panini.
The lunch can only be described as excellent and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Look forward to coming again and we will certainly recommend!

This is a wonderful little café with great outside space. It is part of the museum and the food is great and very reasonably priced. We ate there a few times during our recent visit to Millport. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Highly recommended.
The cafe/restaurant was clean, tidy, well presented and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the museum similarly so, although we didn't see any staff there. The only downside from our perspective was the 4.00 p.m. cessation of serving hot food, by explanation we arrived at 4.05 p.m. The options on the menu looked good and we were sorry we didn't get the opportunity to sample anything hot. Shame!

was in yesterday and didnt know whether to buy the squash carrot and ginger soup as i have never tasted this one before and the lovely lady behind the counter let me sample it..and happy to say it was delicious...we will be back again when we visit Millport..��
Had a wonderful breakfast last week, the boys loved their hot chocolates, eggs and bacon and I had an excellent cappuccino, friendly service, great hospitality, looking forward to our next visit.
Great wee find enjoyed my lunch sitting in the courtyard watching the world go by. The sunken garden is beautiful. Will defo go back soon I hope.

Food was great and my roast veggie sandwich was delicious. Lots of healthy options and cafe is so light and airy inside. Kids particularly loved the smoothies 👍🏻

Beautiful, healthy homemade food with very friendly staff. Very reasonably priced too.
Excellent. Food of a good quality. They could perhaps do with some training from a barista as their coffee is very thin and quite weak, my cappuccino tasted and looked like a weak hot chocolate. But everything else was grand. Nice surroundings aswell.
