I am a qualified fully summer, winter mountain and international mountain leader and rock climbing instructor. My qualifications allow me to instruct and lead groups within mountainous areas throughout Great Britain and the world.
I am also a qualified Trail Cycle leader and Gold Level Duke of Edinburgh supervisor /assessor.
I am fully insured.

Hi folks,
I am running a one day navigation course based in the Scottish Borders on Sunday the 26th of November. The course is designed for those attending to understand the fundamental skills required to navigate in the mountain environment, and will include; Setting the map... Maps scales Measuring distance and applying this on the ground. And: Taking and applying bearings
You should be reasonably fit for a day on the hill but no navigation experience is required. If you have a compass (base plate variety preferable) please bring it along. If not I will supply along with maps. You will need food and a drink for the day along with waterproofs (I will send a full kit list on booking). Full winter conditions during Mountaineering Scotland's student seminar based at Glenmore Lodge
Heading home after a successful ascent of Mt Elbrus. It was a privelage to lead such a fine group on mountain lovers to allow them achieve their aims. I hope we meet again #Adventure Peaks
