Gavinburn Cottages are set high in the Kilpatrick Hills, providing guests with stunning views of Glasgow and the River Clyde. We are within 10 miles of Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow Airport and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

What a fantastic place to spend your holidays sit back & relax or go to one of the many places around the area The cottages are beautiful well equipped with stunning views from every window Alex looks after every guest as if they are family & will go out of his way to help you So thanks again for new & old memories
What a beautiful cottage in fabulous surroundings. Couldn't want for anything. The Auchentoshan house we stayed in had everything you could ever need. Our last day today ended with a snow flurry. So beautiful and Alex was on hand to clear the snow to enable us to head home. Would definitely recommend
We stayed twice 2015, we stayed in the old Cottages first and the new cottages the second time, both were very well equipped, very clean, it is situated in a lovely area, our little dog Jimmy love it . I am determined to return again next year loved it.
This is a wonderful place and have stayed many times (before the cottages were so beautifully refurbished) ... so many fabulous memories of walks to Loch Humprey, the spring, spending time with family ... Now to book for a revisit in 2015. Can't wait!!
Myself, my wife and kids just returned to the US after a great stay at the Gavinburn Cottages. I grew up 5 minutes from these cottages so I am very familiar with the surrounding area. Anyone contemplating a stay here can be assured these cottages are not only top notch, high quality cottages, but the surrounding area and access to the city and countryside are second to none. Just spent my hen weekend at Gavinburn Cottages! Stayed in Auchentoshan and Glenmorangie cottages. Fully equipped cottages, beautifully decorated and location and views were absolutely stunning. Couldn't have wished for a better location. Thanks to Alex for all of your help with booking and organising. Would highly recommend to anyone and hope to return one day.
Just returned from a weekend stay here and all I can say is wow, from the actual cottage to the location with stunning views, we will definitely be returning and can't recommend highly enough. Well done. Xx
Gavinburn Cottages is a wonderful place to stay; homely, comfortable and welcoming with everything done to a really high standard. The welcome basket is a lovely - and much appreciated - touch, as is the supply of logs for the burner; a real fire made the living room feel extra festive over Christmas. The location is superb being so close to Glasgow yet far enough away to be peaceful and restful and the views are fantastic - even when it rains! We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and will definitely be staying again.
Fantastic well equipped cottages with superb views across the river Clyde. The walk up to Loch Humphrey behind the cottages is worth it, although some parts are really steep (amazed at how many of the locals walk it on an almost daily basis). Would highly recommend this as a good base to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. We plan to return.
Enjoying our last evening in the beautiful Glenlivet Cottage. We have had a great week and hope to be back soon. It is a perfect place for a short break in every season. We will miss the cattle :-)))
Beautiful setting, accommodation first class. One of my most enjoyable weekends. Would like to come back sometime.

Attention to detail has been executed well here. A high standard throughout the cottage with subtle extras to make your stay more enjoyable. A tranquil haven for any visitor.
Just spent a wonderful relaxing week at The Glenlivet cottage the weather views and hospitality were brilliant just what the doctor ordered, ideal location for touring loch Lomand and surrounding areas . Helensburgh a town worth visiting especially for fine local meat produce and a first class Spanish Tapas bar and restaurant wished we could have stayed longer. Hope we get an opportunity to return soon.
