Quick shower change over.
As you can see our customers shower was leaking quite badly which ruined the flooring beneath as well as the plaster board behind.
We stripped everything out and started again. We applied new plaster board on the walls and then installed new wet wall on top.
... We cored a new hole for the waste allowing the water to drain away exactly how it should and meaning we could lower the height of they shower tray along with it.
Quick change over completed on a tight budget. Not every job has to cost a lot!

Need a disabled shower room, no problem!
Today we put the finishing touches to a downstairs shower room in Duloch.
Our customer wanted a modern looking bathroom with all the functionality of a disabled Bathroom.
... We started by removing a wall through opening up a cupboard creating a much bigger Bathroom to accommodate the new shower. We created a bulkhead, hiding the cistern to give a clean and clutter free area.
After this we supplied and fitted brushed steal handles for her mother.

We finally got there!
To say we had our work cut out with this one is an understatement! First of all we remove a brick wall to create a much bigger space to work with and there for giving the customer everything they wanted..
... We remove all the old cast iron pipework due to the Bath waste being completely blocked. As well as this all the 4"was completely renewed giving them piece of mind for the future.
We installed underfloor heating for those cold winter mornings along with LED lighting in the Bath panel and underneath the wash hand basin.
We hope our customer is as happy with the result as we are!

Freshen up for spring!!
Here is one of our recent Bathrooms. A quick turn around and a tight budget but the client was over the moon with the outcome.
This job came with s few surprises and some very questionable wiring indeed. We stripped out all the old tiles and Dark channel lining on the ceiling, to achieve a clean bright look.

Today I Installed an Intergas Combi for the first time. Got to say, they are a pretty decent bit of kit, all be it apart from the wireless controller that I had a lot of issues with (Not related to Intergas)

Another Saturday install.
Here we took out another potterton suprima and swapped the system over to accommodate a combi Boiler.
We opted for a Baxi platinum 40kw due to this property being so large with a number of Bathrooms. The platinum range comes with a standard 10 year warranty giving our customer that extra piece of mind.

End of the road for another suprima!
As you can see here, we retired an old potterton suprima system boiler. We change our clients whole system over today from a gravity system to fully sealed. We disconnected and removed all the old storage tanks in the attic.
In it's place we installed a brand new Worcester 42 CDI combi Boiler giving our client plenty of Hot water in their 3 Bathroom property.

Today seen us complete another heating upgrade. We sited the Boiler in the attic, incorporating a filling loop and pressure Gauge downstairs allowing the client to keep a close eye on the pressure, without having to clamber up into the attic every time they need to top the pressure up. We installed the Fernox system filter right next to it for ease of servicing.
We installed a Baxi platinum combi with a standard ten year warranty giving our client th...e piece of mind that they are covered for any breakdowns if they should occur.

Out working Sunday!
Finally got the chance to finish off a central heating system in Edinburgh today. In this heating System we combined the grunfoss Alpha 2 erp pump, along with the Nest learning thermostat and Baxi eco blue advance. All this equipment adds up to a very efficient heating system saving our customer a vast amount of money over the years.
I even wired this one myself, which was a bit of a test I have to say.

Today we completed another Bathroom over in Edinburgh!
As you can see the transformation was impressive. We renewed all the floor boards and floor covering is. Lowered the ceiling and included downlighters and a silent running extractor.
For something a bit different we constructed two Alcoves with led downlighters.

Worcester out and Baxi in.
Not quite finished this yet but wanted to give you all some progress shots of this full central heating we started to install this week.
We have stripped out an old Worcester Combi and have replaced it with a Baxi eco blue advance, 210 litre hot water tank for the 2 new Bathrooms going in. This system will more than meet all the requirements of the house.
... We designed and chose this system as we will be installing under floor heating at a later date as well.
Along with this we have installed the latest grunfoss alpha2 erp pump which contributes to making this system even more energy efficient.
To finish it off I am adding the 3rd generation, nest learning thermostat, giving the customer greater control over their heating and hot water, whether at home or out of the house.

I think we can agree, cast iron Radiators look amazing!
Yesterday we installed two Cast iron Radiators in place of standard Ones. Our customer is over the moon with the result as are we.

Bathroom season is upon us yet again!
Here we have a recent Bathroom that we completed. As you can see, the customer opted for plasterboard instead of wet wall or tiles, which is so common these days. As you can see by the finish, it looks Amazing!
We sunk the shower tray into the floor to give almost a wet room feel, coupled with walk in shower for added luxury. We Stripped all the walls back to brick and applied plasterboard and then we Ames taped for a smooth finish.
... Our team completed the whole job in house, from the planning and design, through to the finished product.
Our customer waited a while on us getting to them and we hope they enjoy the use of it.

We had a problem in one of our disabled toilets I gave them a call and the boys were out first thing this morning and did the job with NO charge. Having been connected to all trades through my grandfather, father and having been a part of a property renovation company previously to say I was impressed by GCB plumbing would be an understatement. The commitment to us as customers and the job was outstanding.Gareth and his team made it a pleasure to deal with, everything was clear and delivered on time. On the first day Gareth badly cut his hand and attended A&E , I thought I would not see him for the rest of the day and possibly next day, how wrong was I, Gareth went away and came back straight from A&E with stitches and continued to rip out the bathroom. I was stunned and very pleased. On days when I was tired and exhausted Gareth would turn up so positive and cheery that it made me instantly feel better and be able to soldier on with the tasks I had to deal with. Due to the commitment and manner in which Gareth takes control I was able to leave him and his team to work away knowing I could trust him to get on with the job and this gave me a huge sigh of relief. Absolutely a dream to work with and I cannot recommend them highly enough. This started as a bathroom refit to bring it up to date and very quickly grew into a Kitchen refit modernisation. The Bathroom refit and kitchen are both stunning and this was all completed with in two weeks from taking on one job to actually completing two projects. Without Gareth's help and the people he had working for him we would not of been able to achieve the high class finish we now have. If anyone ever deserved to succeed this is the company I would say is top of the list. I had complete trust and was over joyed that I had a company I could just give a key to and let them get on with the work. Sometimes it was 21.00 or 22.00 before they actually finished at night. A long day for them and it goes to show how much effort they all put in. Thank you all so much for doing the projects and at a fantastic price. One very happy customer .

Installed my outside taps for me. Arrived early and worked away in the rain where a plumber who id organised the week before didn't show up. Very good service. Already got you in mind for the bathroom. Thanks again.

I work for a charity the provides Day Care for the Elderly in the Local Community. We had a problem in one of our disabled toilets I gave them a call and the boys were out first thing this morning and did the job with NO charge. Having been connected to all trades through my grandfather, father and having been a part of a property renovation company previously to say I was impressed by GCB plumbing would be an understatement. The commitment to us as customers and the job was outstanding.Gareth and his team made it a pleasure to deal with, everything was clear and delivered on time. Communication was excellent and we were kept up to date all the time which was great. Consulted when possible changes were required to make improvements. On the first day Gareth badly cut his hand and attended A&E , I thought I would not see him for the rest of the day and possibly next day, how wrong was I, Gareth went away and came back straight from A&E with stitches and continued to rip out the bathroom. I was stunned and very pleased. On days when I was tired and exhausted Gareth would turn up so positive and cheery that it made me instantly feel better and be able to soldier on with the tasks I had to deal with. Due to the commitment and manner in which Gareth takes control I was able to leave him and his team to work away knowing I could trust him to get on with the job and this gave me a huge sigh of relief. Absolutely a dream to work with and I cannot recommend them highly enough. This started as a bathroom refit to bring it up to date and very quickly grew into a Kitchen refit modernisation. The Bathroom refit and kitchen are both stunning and this was all completed with in two weeks from taking on one job to actually completing two projects. Without Gareth's help and the people he had working for him we would not of been able to achieve the high class finish we now have. If anyone ever deserved to succeed this is the company I would say is top of the list. I had complete trust and was over joyed that I had a company I could just give a key to and let them get on with the work. Sometimes it was 21.00 or 22.00 before they actually finished at night. A long day for them and it goes to show how much effort they all put in. Thank you all so much for doing the projects and at a fantastic price. One very happy customer .

Had problem with toilet not flushing Gareth was out to me the next day and fixed it immediately excellent service 100% recommend to anyone.

Gareth has installed a brand new boiler as my old boiler was massively undersized. He also relocated it from the kitchen to the garage and made a fantastic job of it. His attention to detail is second to none and has been involved in the process from the start. Can't recommend this company enough and I already have more work in the pipeline for him. After contacting Gareth he said he was able to come out and look at the boiler as it was dropping in pressure the next day, he came out and said he knew was problem was and would come back on the Monday.
