Gear Bikes

Went to Gear Bikes to fix the breaks on my bike. Joe who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. When collecting he also helped me pump my tires free of charge. Warm and friendly atmosphere, would recommend!

I went there to buy a pump and puncture repair kit. It was Sunday and a shop staff gently explained to me which are recommended. I bought recommended ones and these worked very well. Good shops! Thanks.

Got bike serviced at a different shop; felt like something was rubbing. Took along to gear; they removed a wrong-sized washer on my back wheel, replaced, let me borrow their pump and charged me nothing. Great guys - much appreciated and helpful

Incredible service. Rented 4 bikes with panniers for a 4 day trip. Service couldn't have been more friendly, helpful or accommodating and the bikes were excellent. Thanks a lot - looking forward to our next trip.

Got my puncture fixed here on Easter Sunday - not only was I grateful the shop was even open but the shop owner was so lovely and did such a great job I felt I had to leave a review. Would definitely recommend.

Super friendly and helpful staff! I came in with questions about a helmet and lock, and I got lots of recommendations and help. I'm not sure the name of who helped me (tattoos, spacers) but he was awesome and attentive. I'll be back for any other gear I need. Thank you! :)

The service was excellent (thanks again Joe) and the staff was very helpful! The bikes were perfect for a 1 week tour in Scotland. I definitely recommend!!!

If not the best, one of the best bike shops in Glasgow. I have tried different shops in Glasgow for the past 3 years and this is the best in terms of customer service, knowledge and behaviour towards the customer and the bike. Sometimes the materials tend to be a bit pricey when new but, the guys are always there to help you make ammendments with any available refurbished parts if you are thinking on a budget and they will never charge you before notifying you about the whole cost and how it is broken down in the different parts that they are going to use. Overall friendly and helpful in giving advice for cycling and maintenance. I would strongly recommend it for anyone that genuinely love their bike. Personally I have no words for thanking the guys in Gear Bikes after the job that they did on my bike after a car crush and the very reasonable price I paid for it. And as an extra while other shops will most likely guide you to buy another bike when it is severely damaged, I hereby quote Joe's words when he saw my bike: "This is a bike worth fixing for". Thanks a lot guys keep up the good work!!
