We've been dying to have a go with gold but ooh err it's so much more expensive than silver especially if you make a mistake! So here is our first endeavour... stacking rings with gorgeous little balls of gold. Don't they look gorgeous stacked together? I do love a bit of mixed metal and this is an ideal way to add a little touch of gold. Available in all sterling silver or with either solid gold or solid red gold. Gx

So we've gone all green here at Gemme. We're now using recycled silver, exactly the same as normal sterling silver but just a bit kinder to the environment, made entirely from recycled and scrap silver. It can be treated and worked with in the exact same way as silver, it would seem only fitting that our first potterings with it have a earthy influence. I love the bark texture on these earrings we created, look out soon for a new range including earrings, rings and necklace with this gorgeous finish, it really sparkles and catches the light.

It was a ring kinda day yesterday preparing for our next Selkirk Farmers Market, we've got some cute little celestial themed stacking rings, various heart styles and some plain beaded band stacking rings amongst many others. Pop along for a look on Saturday

We've gone live with our personalised, engraved disc necklaces. Available with any number of discs, just ask!

A wee peek at a new engraved charm we've designed and created here at Gemme. The perfect personalised present for any special occassion, remember we can engrave in any font, upper or lower case and can add in graphics. If you know what you want we can create it for you! These will be available on necklaces or bracelets and any number of charms can be added.

It's Market Day! Just a few of the lovely rings as well as many other items heading off to the Market today, pop along if you get a chance.

Sometimes less is more and it's definitely the case with our new range "Nu Bijoux", a mini collection of minimalist influenced jewellery. These pieces are all made from scratch in sterling silver and recycled sterling silver right here in our studio. We'll have a selection of these at the Selkirk Farmer's Market this Saturday, pop along for a look at these and all our other handmade jewellery.

Here's our latest addition to the Nu Bijoux range, simple classy little triangle shaped studs, all cut, soldered shaped and polished in-house here at Gemme - the photo doesn't show just how shiny these little beauties are! Standard size is 8mm x 8mm but as these are totally handmade we can make to any size..
