Generate Radio C. I. C. is a non-profit Community Interest Company designed to put the local community of Berwickshire first. We are a 24 /7 local broadcasting radio service. Two young Director /Founders head up the business, along with a committee of carefully selected individuals who provide recognized and needed skills. The station first started broadcasting on September 13th 2010 and has continued to serve Berwickshire and surrounding areas to this day. Since the beginning of Generate Radio we have introduced a large number of new presenters, providing daily local news & weather updates along with a whats on guide, giving the community regular up to date information about local events. Here at Generate Radio we aim to fulfil Berwickshires need for a local, different and exciting radio station. Our vast schedule of live programming does not only promise to fill your ears with songs both old and new but also to provide you with all the local sport, news, traffic, travel and event guides. We have a number of shows specialising in a range of genres such as Celtic, Blues, Dance (DnB, Dubstep, House, Electro), Local music discussion, and much more. Plans to have live programming broadcast 14 hours a day, 7 days a week are already set in motion. We aim to be broadcasting via FM to the community of Berwickshire by October 2012.
