You can get great fish and chips here - best around. But on the odd occasion I found the standard dropped and I got 2 quite small relatively scrappy pieces of fish. Chips were always decent.
Staff are usually friendly youngsters and the place is smart and popular during peak times.
Nice ice cream too.

This place is generous and welcoming in every possible way...the staff, the food, the seating arrangements, cleanliness, and speed - everything is top notch. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning again! One of the best first experiences in a restaurant of this category that I can remember.

Good food at decent prices. Visited here with my mum whilst in the area. Although it was very busy the service was quick and delightful. We both had the fish tea and really enjoyed it. I opted for an alcoholic beverage instead of tea as they have a liqueur license. Mum already planning a return visit with the grandkids.
