Gille Brighde

We had the most amazing weekend ever in Diabaig. We had our wedding on the pier in Lower Diabaig followed by a wedding breakfast in the Gille Brighde & an evening meal. Amanda and Aart were brilliant at helping us put together our special day, even down to letting our little girl help decorate the tables for dinner. The food was fabulous & we all certainly had the best day of our life. Thank you for making it so Special xXx

This little gem of a restaurant is one of my happiest foodie discoveries ever. I got a very warm and friendly welcome and enjoyed the most delicious food, with a spectacular view from the cosy and stylish dining area. All of this made it well worth the journey to the remote and romantic village it's nestled in. I'll definitely be back, Aart and Amanda - the menu has to be explored further!

My husband took myself and our two year old here for a surprise first visit. It was incredible! The journey over was breath taking and a true delight. We had a fantastic experience with a sea eagle on our way. The scenery is fantastic and reminds you how lucky we are to live here. When we arrived over the rollercoaster thrilling drive into daibaig itself you immediately feel at peace. The restaurant was perfect. The welcome we received was genuine and so friendly. It's beautiful with a gorgeous wood burning stove and the views were incredible. Delicious menu with lots to choose from and they couldn't have been more helpful with options for the little one. She even got her own special knife and fork. I could quite easily have stayed there all day and night and can imagine a lovely summers day with incredible food, lovely friendly service and that view. We will most definitely be back and cannot thank the lovely people here for making our trip so memorable. Look forward to seeing you again 😊

Decided on a spur of the moment to head here and phoned to book a table,no problem at all.The journey was nothing short of amazing on a sunny and very hot day and we arrived an hour early so took the opportunity to have a walk along the beach and partake in a little sunbathing.�The restaurant is very quaint and decorated beautifully.Drinks were much appreciated and the food was superb,we had 3 courses(��) and coffee and the service from the owners was second to none,so friendly and attentive.Will definitely be back soon and would recommend this wonderful gem of a place in a heartbeat.�
