Visited for the first time yesterday. We were taken to a table straight away and were very well looked after. I have now found a fab spiced gin which I will be trying again. Will definitely be going back

This is our favourite bar in the world, and we have seen a few! The service is impeccable and without doubt the classiest bar in Scotland. If you’re going to Glasgow you have to go here!

Just a brilliant place for either a quick on or to learn about Gin. Great original building (former Bank of India), great music and atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, huge variety with a tasting option.

Gin71 has a fantastic selection of gin. Staff are great at helping to match the mixers with the gin you have chosen. I had a scottish gin called Esker and the recommeded mediterranean tonic was a great choice. Well worth a visit when you are in Glasgow

Brilliant night with great staff and amazing drinks

Bit expensive, but quality products and quality service from well trained and knowledgeable staff. Will go back.

Always love our visits to this classy joint... dropped in prior to a trip to the Pavilion Theatre and were seated immediately, right next to the radiator, by the clearly attentive waiting staff. We shared a cocktail for two, served in an elegant teapot, cups and saucers... delicious and classy... we'll be back soon...

Was a bit fed up that the 3 gins I wanted to try they hadn't got as they had run out off

Myself and husband went here Friday evening after hearing so much about it. How we were so disappointed. They may have a menu with suggested serves but surely the customers views count. Staff were quite curt and not interested in what we wanted with the particular gins we chose. They seemed more interested in telling people who have no knowledge of gin what the company want them to share. I don't know all there is to know about gin but after having been part of a Gin Club , learning all about the processes, serves, botanicals etc I feel in a position to at least know what suits my palette and as a customer in your establishment......should have been listened to.

I like to visit this place when I'm in town. Well until Saturday I did. The thing is after spending quite a bit of money enjoying our drinks we were approached by the young manager asking me to tone it down. Imagine the scene ...we are a group of friends enjoying gin cocktails. There's some good music playing quite loudly in the back ground and next to us is a group of German guys visiting our city. They start talking to us and eventually ask us if we know of somewhere more lively. I asked if they were looking to go clubbing/dancing and did a wee dance move in my seat. Unfortunately, the young manager thought this was inappropriate behaviour!!! Did I offend anyone? Don't think so. We are a group of friends with professional jobs like lots of other customers that visit your establishment. If our actions were so bad in sure the security staff would have intervened. Sorry Gin71 you've lost yourselves good custom. Such a shame.

Used to love this place until we went on Saturday, it was dead and even some German visitors asked us was there anywhere more lively. My friend was gesturing a dance move in her chair and was told by Boston the manager this was not appropriate even though we had spent £270 in there tjis year . We wont be back all rather boring.
