Shawl: Allermuir by Clare Devine using Sturdy Splendor Sport in 'Pappy's Garden' for the main colour and Splendor 4ply 'I Got the Navy Blues' as the contrast border.

Today's #memademay features me in my Pussy Bow Blouse (pattern from Sew Over It) tucked in my cosy knitting nook.

My Marshmallow Mitts are complete. Local yarn and buttons from a local maker. Shop local perfection!

The outfit for today's #memademay is my Francoise Dress paired with my mallard themed silk scarf. I truly want to be a silk scarf wearing lady, but struggle with how to wear them and with what... I'm obviously just overthinking it. After all, it is just a scarf. Do you have something in your wardrobe that you love but struggle to wear?
Dress: Francoise Dress pattern from Tilly and the Buttons made with some soft and comfy jersey.
Scarf: Made by @helenruthscarf and purchased ...at the Craft Scotland Summer Show a couple years ago. .

Hello all you woolly folks! I've been off the #memademay wagon, but I'm back on today wearing my Jenny Overalls with my So Faded sweater.
Overalls: Jenny Overalls from @Closetcase Patterns
Sweater: So Faded by Andrea Lowry (I hacked it into a cropped and cap sleeved version) using Ginger's Hand Dyed for the yoke and a skein of Hedgehog for the body.

A productive afternoon in the dye studio. 'Factory Girls' has to be one of my fav newer colourways. Shhhhh, don't tell the others!

Plotting a pair of fingerless mitts...or perhaps a pair of cosy house socks. This new wool is full of natural beauty and spun from the fleece of a small flock of Ryeland sheep from the Scottish Borders.
