Girl Up Edinburgh

Girl Up Edinburgh is a University of Edinburgh student-run society dedicated to highlighting, empowering, and amplifying intersectional Feminist voices in the pursuit of gender equality in the local Edinburgh, greater Scottish, and worldwide community. With hundreds of members, from diverse disciplines, we are one of the largest and most active Feminist organizations on the UoE campus. Through annual campaigns and weekly workshops, Girl Up Edinburgh aims to unite the student and Edinburgh community to 1) achieve institutional & societal change, 2) realize & fortify gender equal rights, and 3) spotlight experiences of those often ignored or dismissed by society & the mainstream Feminist movement.
