Glamis Castle

Absolutely brilliant day out. Lovely tour of the castle and it's grounds and gardens .staff very helpful .friendly. good food in the cafe and reasonable prices. Will be going back next year

A really interesting walk through history - and enjoyable grounds to meander round.

No link with Macbeth but it is a live castle linked to the Royal family. Good gardens. Informed tour guide and a kids park as well.

Wonderful place in spectacular setting. Tour of castle very interesting with something to interest all ages. This was the favourite residence of the Queen Mother and contains lots of family memorabilia.

Excellent guided tour.
Castle lovingly and carefully looked after.
Not overrun by too many tourists at once.
Imposingly long arrival drive to the front of the castle with picture fairytale appearance.
Many interesting walks through the grounds.

Fantastic but is a shame that it is possible just to see the 10 percent of the castle. But is worthwhile visiting it

Lovely time spent walking the grounds with the dogs. Popped them back on the van to enjoy a snack in the cafe (excellent traditional food and cakes). Fantastic tour guide with ghostly tall tales took us around the castle before we left.

A nice place to visit and walk around especially if the weather is nice.

Great and friendly welcome, excellent facilities for disabled mobility. Great shop and beautiful gardens and location.
