A friendly and fun ladies hockey club.

Based in Anniesland, in the West End of Glasgow, Glasgow Accies Ladies Hockey Club is a section of the Glasgow Academicals Sports Club which is part of The Glasgow Academy.

TRAINING: Tuesday’s at Windyedge Pitch, 6. 30-8. 30pm.

A £300, 000 all-weather Commonwealth-standard water-based hockey pitch was officially opened at Windyedge in October 2013. We are lucky enough to call this our new home pitch and it has been described as the world’s most modern pitch and an exact replica of the surfaces used at the Olympic Games in London and Commonwealth games in Glasgow.

There is an excellent social scene at the Glasgow Accies Sports Club with boasts 2 bars, function rooms and many a social event with the other Accies sports sections - Rugby, Men's Hockey and Cricket.

We run a mixed hockey team throughout the summer months and play in a competitive indoor league.
