Following the success of the Commonwealth Games Business Portal, Glasgow City Council in conjunction with various partners has developed the Glasgow Business Portal to advertise both public and private sector contracts.

Delivering the cities major construction projects together with the 2014 Commonwealth Games will require the procurement of goods, works and services of all types and value from an enormous range of companies.

The Glasgow Business Portal brings together contractors and suppliers and provides businesses of all sizes with the opportunity to find out about and compete for business opportunities.

Anyone can view opportunities. However, to receive information via email alerts on new opportunities you will need to complete your company profile including the category of goods, works or services you are interested in tendering for.

To be considered for contracts, all suppliers need to complete their company profile and become what we call "Business Ready"
