Glasgow European Society

The Glasgow European Society (GES) is a student-run society at the University of Glasgow that caters to all those interested in the culture, economies and politics of European nations. GES is a non-political organisation and it exists to promote youth engagement in all things related to Europe. Our mission is to engage young people in European affairs, promote the idea of a European identity and support the development of a united European community through cultural, social and political events. As a result, the society also aims to generate an interest as well as an understanding of the work that the European Union undertakes. We are one of the more active societies at campus and we host a wide variety of enjoyable events for our members.
