The Glasgow Guitar Night is a recurring event happening in one of the busiest cities of the world - Glasgow. It is a space for any guitarist who wants to show their work to a broader audience while meeting fellow colleagues in a relaxed environment.

Now available, supported by RCS and featuring lute and early guitar lecturer Jamie Akers, a recording of little known and much neglected music for guitar by 19th century women composers, performed on period instruments. This project aims to redress the historic gender imbalance in the guitar repertoire and allow these unique works to be widely heard and assume their rightful place in the history of the guitar.
