Glasgow Hellenic Dancers

Home page for the Glasgow Hellenic Dancers, a Greek dance group based in Glasgow's West End, that welcomes all cultures.

Traditional dances from the many diverse regions and islands of Greece have been passed on from one generation to the next and continue to thrive in popular culture. Our aim as a group is to continue building our repertoire of traditional dances, and to pass them on faithfully to new generations of dancers, in order to ensure that the Greek diaspora stays in touch with its cultural roots, and that Hellenic arts are preserved for others to enjoy.

The Hellenic Dancers are a traditional Greek arts performance group based in Glasgow. We fund the group through performing traditional dances at cultural and private events and so we are open to requests to perform.
