Santa was good to me ððððð
Merry Christmas to one and all from the Glasgow M.A.G. We hope that Santa brings plenty of kits to you this season,
This is Ian's 1/35 scale Caterpillar D8 with it Cranes 40 Ton tracked trailer and it's load, an Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 diesel shunter. This combination was used a few days after D-Day. Ian scratch built this entire combination. This was on display at our last Club meeting of the year.
This is the new 1/72 scale ACE Models Nagmachon. It's only taken me around 3 hours so far to build this as it is. So far the kit has just fell together. No filler used and only a little light sanding on the upper hull/ trackguards Once the sideskirts are on, they'll cover the joint anyway! Now the hard part is about to start!ð
This is the British built Submarine "Lembit" which is located in the Seaplane Harbour Museum, Tallinn, Estonia. This Submarine was used by the Estonian Navy from 1937 until 2011! This made the Lembit the longest serving Submarine in the world.
This is a replica of a Shorts 184 Seaplane at the Seaplane Harbour Museum in Tallinn, Estonia. The Shorts 184 was use by the Estonian forces between 1919 and 1933. This is believed to be the only full sized replica in the world.
This is an ex Finnish ZSU 57/2 which in the Seaplane Hanger Museum in Tallinn, Estonia. Hopefully this will help you with the Takom kit.
This is my 1/72 scale resin T15 Armata from Cromwell Models. This was on display at our Club meeting last Monday night.
Davy's 1/35 scale King Tiger. This was on display at our Club meeting last Monday night.
Ian is well known in the Club for doing something different. Here Ian has converted a 1/35 scale Tamiya Leopard 1 into a "Dachs" Engineer vehicle. Here we can see his "converted" model in an under water diorama!ðĪŠðĪŠðĪŠðĪŠ
