Glasgow Music School

Glasgow Music School was Founded by guitarist Eddie Dewson in late 2013.
We are a music school based in the Southside of Glasgow.

With over 16 years of music teaching experience and as lead guitarist in the Glasgow based 4 piece rock band PLAYTONE Eddie has long dreamed of running his own music school, and now it’s here!

Currently we offer one-to-one and group lessons in Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Music Theory and Song Writing. So whether your aim is to master the instrument, prepare for school exams or just play for enjoyment, we promise to deliver a great lesson experience that’s both motivational and educational for as long as you are with us.

Lessons are available to everyone; our tutors hold a current Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Certificate and have a wealth of experience teaching both children and adults, we even offer “Child & Parent” classes.

So, whether you’re looking for a new hobby or your aim is to follow a “Graded Exam” program, try out guitar for the first time or to learn to play your favourite songs, we will help you progress toward your goals while you learn a life long skill and have a great time in the process.
