Glasgow Taxis

Awful. Late. Smelly. Old car. No communication and then arrogant manner from telephonist & driver. All this despite pre-booing and pre-paying. Or should that be all this because.....

Without doubt THE worst taxi company I have ever dealt with, waited an hour for a taxi and was told that it had arrived and I wasn't there, then told he was around the corner and would be there in a minute, guess what, he wasn't, was then told to ring another company as they were busy, 3 hours later when I rang (I was home by then) they said he was still on his way. A wet cardboard box is more useful than this company.

Got a taxi across town from the station. The reaction from the driver would infer this is not the done thing. I'm still a bit confused as to whether he only takes jobs round the corner or ones to Carlisle. In any case, I would've thought 5 quid for a few minutes driving in the rain was a win for all parties.

Alongside my preposterous route, I also had the audacity to want to pay by card (as advertised on the side of the taxi). Being someone who rarely carries cash due to things like technological advancement, again, I'm not sure what the problem is.

If you must use Glasgow Taxis, please make sure only to want to travel 14 feet or 200 miles and to bring all your spare change to pay the driver. Hopefully you will have less confusing feedback than I.

Terrible service! The old woman who answers the calls was extremely rude and unhelpful. We ordered two taxis and when they called to let us know they were outside we headed down (we did not want to go down any sooner as it was pouring of rain) but the time we got outside they were gone. We phoned up to ask what had happened and the woman informed is that the taxis had waiting 4 minutes (i mean 4 minutes is nothing for us to get down from the 3rd floor!) and then left. She then went onto be very unpleasant on the phone when I asked if it was possible to order other taxis. In the end i just gave up. Extremely unprofessional. I think you need better trained staff. I definitely wouldn't recommend!!

Absolutely shocking people, claim it is standard to go from touch down to clearing baggage and security in 10 minutes then call to demand more money or will leave the client stranded. Rude and using their own stupidity as an excuse to profit when they know you have no option other than abandoning the collection. Never use these useless dim and ruthless idiots unless you enjoy being robbed. 105 from glasgow airport to Stirling is a skank in the first place. Should be put out of business on ethical grounds. You give humans a bad name.

Worst cab company ever. We booked a cab in advance for the next morning because of a deadline. When the cab was supposed to be there I got a text saying it was dispatched and would be there in 6 minutes! We gave them one more chance and the same thing happened. And the dispatcher was incredibly rude on the phone. She said they couldn't plan when the cab would be there - despite having 12 hours notice and knowing there was a deadline?

Took an airport taxi to premier inn paisley approx 3 miles cost £10 had to return later on to pick up hire car phoned Glasgow taxis got cab driver nice enough guy. Drive the same distance meter was switched off asked how much for fare £22 when I phoned I was told I got a discount it should have been £29 daylight robbery for a 3 mile journey never again.
