Hello and welcome to Glasgow!
When you join the GUHC you are joining one of the most popular, friendly and talented clubs at Glasgow University. The strangers that you meet at your first session will become your best friends for the rest of your uni life and beyond. Members of the hockey club have been know to share lectures, train together, live together and eat together. The Men's club have 3 competitive teams, and the Women's club have 4 competitive teams. With a membership of well over 200 students you will do well to spend a day without seeing a single hockey player, most likely in their GUHC gear.
Our abilities are varied. From the most dedicated and talented athletes to the complete beginners and social boozehounds, everyone is welcome. At training you will be playing with players who have gained district, county and even international experience whilst getting valuable advice from top level coaches. There is also a superb social side to the club, which is unrivaled in the rest of Glasgow. This is down to our glorious social committee, who will be out to make sure everyone has a good time.
