Glen Scotia Distillery

Glen Scotia war ein Höhepunkt meiner Destillerie-Besuche. Die Tour durfte ich als einziger Gast und Zuhörer genießen. Der gesamte Vormittag wurde durch Kurzweil und Information geprägt. Am Ende der Tour durfte ich noch drei Flaschen Whisky erwerben welche alle von Mitarbeitern der Destillerie unterschrieben wurden.

Small distillery. But tour is amazing.

A genuine old working distillery. No chrome & glass showroom/tourist center here - just a real working establishment that produces some wonderful drams and is run by a great, friendly staff.

Absolutely great tour and even better scotch! It is perfect for a group of 5 to 6, or even less. Our tour guide, Archie, went out of his way to explain their distinct distilling process, the history of the Campbelltown Scotch Region and was very patient with our numerous questions during the tasting! I just hope they start popping up in more US stores soon!
