We are delighted to be featured in this months 'Exclusively British' as one of the 12 best unique castle hotels in Britain.

Sun, sun and more sun! What a glorious start to our Scottish summer. Our tearoom is open everyday 11am - 5pm so why not pop along and enjoy the sunshine! The tearoom will be closed on Wednesday 18th July due to a special event in the castle.

Congratulations to the Torridon Hotel for winning Best Independent Hotel at the Cateys last night and to all the other 2018 Catey winners. It was a glittering event at the Grosvenor Hotel celebrating the best of the best in the industry and their commitment to excellence. Glenapp Castle was thrilled to be finalised for one of these prestigious awards.

Wonderful quiet secluded peaceful spot of beauty, warmth ,and comfort.

Staff ever so helpful, room spacious and comfortable.

Being disabled it seemed no trouble to the staff to transmit me to the garden tearoom in golf cart which was fun,

What a remarkable place! well worth the drive up the coast road to get to this little hidden gem. We stayed for a private wedding where the service, food and attention to guests needs were delivered with exceptional quality, with a smile and a "nothing is too difficult madam" attitude. The grounds are stunning, the local area provides lots of natural wonder and the castle itself a historic delight. John the GM and all his staff under Hugh are an example of how great service can make your stay relaxed and comfortable. The rooms are quaintly decorated but extremely comfortable, the food was out of this world and we would definitely return. Even just for the wellies and the Glennapp North Face wind sheeters! Thank you for a great stay xxxxx

Went on a stena line boat trip for afternoon tea. Glenapp is amazing hotel. Afternoon tea was beautiful. The castle is stunning . All the staff are so helpful, accommodating and polite. Scott the new manager is lovely and very funny. Thanks for a fabulous day out for my mums 70 th birthday . We will see you again very soon

We fell in love with the castle when we saw it online at the end of 2015, we booked in the new year of 2016 and could not have wished for more.

Outstanding service .... 5 star all the way ... We have worked our way around a number of top class establishments over the years but this rates a clear number one. No exaggeration. Food and accommodation top notch but staff make the experience well worth the visit. Our son got married here in 2016. The staff at the castle made the whole occasion wonderful.

When it came to deciding where we should celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in mid Feb. my husband & I immediately thought of the Castle.

As returning guests, John & his team made us feel like old friends. Everything about our stay was perfect.

After the hustle & bustle of the wedding, it was lovely to be able to relax this time & soak up the peace & tranquility, not to mention the delicious afternoon teas on offer.

As a paraplegic, I am reliant on a wheelchair. Everything was done to unsure my comfort & to make as much as possible of the castle & grounds accessible to me.

We certainly chose the right place to celebrate & would not hesitate to recommend Glenapp to any of our friends.

One of those hidden gems that delivers bucket loads of charm and comfort coupled with true Scottish hospitality. Nothing was a hassle and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a marvelous stay.

My husband and I stayed at Glenapp Castle and had a wonderful experience. It has so much character, the grounds are amazing and every single member of staff couldn’t do enough for us. The chef was extremely helpful helping me with dietary requirements that I have. I would highly recommend it and would love to return.

My husband and I arrived at the stunning Glenapp Castle this afternoon as the sun came out. We were greeted warmly by staff and took a stroll around the estate, before we enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea in the Drawing Room and a glass of champagne to celebrate my birthday. I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Glen App for making our stay perfect! We had exclusive use of the venue for my sisters wedding and after working in events and hospitality myself I couldn't fault anything or anyone! All the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and comfortable, compliments to John and his team! Over the course of the weekend we enjoyed excellent service and delicious food as well as the stunning grounds of the castle! A truly magical setting for any special occasion or just a wee get away! 💙

Had a wonderful lunch in the Victorian Tea Room at Glenapp recently and were looked after so well by Sarah. Will definitely be back.

Had a lovely Afternoon Tea - my sister's birthday treat to me - yesterday. The staff were great and friendly. For me, it was definitely the place to go for an extra special treat. The sun was shining ( always makes for a better day ) so we had a lovely walk around the gardens afterwards. The Victorian Tea Room in the walled garden was closed but the tea room lady let us in to have a look around. Hoping to be back during the Summer to walk more of the grounds and have something to eat in the Victorian Tea Room.

Great gin based afternoon teapot! Popped in for coffee and cake and was excited about the Hendricks afternoon tea. Quite excited for my next visit! The staff from arrival welcomed and greeted us all with the style and manor you would expect. Cakes left us wanting to taste more..... but not through lack of portion size. Grounds, building all...... a wonder to explore.

Graham and I had a fabulous pre-Christmas dinner at Glenapp. What a way to get into the festive spirit. Beautiful menu, excellent vegetarian options, attentive-but-not-intrusive service, twinkling lights everywhere. Perfect.

And special thanks to John, Tanya and Edite for our wee treat!
