What a place... total paradise in the middle of some epic mountain views. Me and the wife have just got back from 3 nights at the scotsview lodge and we cant praise the place enough.. if i was to have a little moan about it then it would be the mattress in our double bedroom I'm a big lad and struggled to get comfy but i countered this issue with plenty red wine while chilling in the outdoor hot tub which was fantastic. It was a perfect getaway before my wife gives birth in 4-6weeks and be sure of this..... we will be back but this time with our son or daughter in the very near future !!! Highly recommended but please dont go as we want it all to ourselves Thanks Glenbeag Mountain Lodges... just a bloody perfect mini break

We hired ‘Dalhuddal’ for 3 nights for family to visit us in the area over the Christmas period. They were utterly blown away by the accommodation and beautiful location. Sitting with them in the Jacuzzi one night under a clear starry night sky whilst sipping a beer and looking out over the snow capped mountains was a particular highlight. It was especially nice after a great day of skiing at the Glenshee ski centre which is just a 10min drive to the North of the lodges. They were also surprised by the amount of varied wildlife they observed on their short stay. From grazing deer on the the peak of ‘Bad an Loin’ opposite the lodge, to pairs of Buzzards and one very lucky sighting of a Stoat in it’s white winter coat making its way across their deck. We were also able to enjoy a BBQ one evening, which was extra special when you are looking out over the snow covered mountains. The ability to warm up afterwards in either the Sauna inside the lodge or the Jacuzzi outside felt particularly luxurious. Dave and Jaki who run the lodges were also really friendly and approachable throughout the booking process and our relatives stay. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the varied activities and places that there were to visit. In summary, if you love the Highlands and want luxurious accommodation that makes the most of the stunning mountainous scenery of Glenshee then nowhere else in this beautiful part of the Cairngorms comes even close. I have to say a big thank you to Dave and Jaki. Our family absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

User

We have just return from 5 days, 4 nts stay which incorporated skiing at the Glenshee Skiing centre.

We had a wonderful time, lodge was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, comfortable and welcoming. The hot tub & sauna an added bonus which was great after a day on the slopes.

Loved it that much coming back next year for another 5 days ....

Thank you.

User

This place is Amazing! Been here twice now with my husband and our friends and my two dogs, we stayed at Clashmore lodge both times and we loved it! The lodge is beautiful and warm with plenty of space. The views is just stunning. To top it off the hot tub is fantastic......just what you need after a long hike up the mountains or a day of sledging or on the slopes!

David and Jaki are so helpful and very kind, we will definitely be back! There is nowhere quite like it. Xxx

User

One of the best places ive stayed in while on holiday. Maybe im a fan of log cabins and the rustic feel. Think the awesome hot tub helped. I would highly recommend this place to have a relaxing weekend. Saw all sorts of birds and saw deer nearly literally in the back garden on several occassions. Even our dog was able to come with us and she enjoyed herself.

User

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the end of September. The lodge was cosy and comfortable but also spacious and has everything you could possibly need for cooking and quiet evenings indoors when the weather is a bit blustery. David and Jackie were extremely helpful and easy to reach and provided a wonderful service.

The views were stunning no matter which window I looked out of and there are so many lovely walks and local sights to enjoy such as the standing stone, stone circle and old Kirk. There is also an abundance of wildlife and fungi for nature enthusiasts. We had a wonderful time and are keen to come back again in the future.

User

My husband and I just home from a fabulous weekend break staying in Scotsview. I have to say the pics do not do the lodge justice it is stunning and perfectly positioned with amazing views. Everything we needed was there and more. Stunning location for exploring the area and on the doorstop of many hills. We will be back...maybe with the kids

User

Just spent 4 nights in the Cragdhu lodge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been especially lucky that the weather has been amazing, but even if it wasn't, we would have still loved the place. The views are great and the cabins were very spacious, comfortable and catered for your every need.

User

Just back from a 4 night stay in clashmore, what an amazing place to stay, stunning views all round and lots of amazing walks out and about, dog loved the freedom, hot tub was superb, we even relaxed in it during a snow shower, couldn't keep the kids out of it. The cabin was nice and warm and clean, everything you need in it for a short stay, didnt think the electricity bill was to bad either. only fault I can pick is when we were all out enjoying the hot tub the dog couldn't be outside with us, because he can just wander off into someone else's lodge or grounds. Apart from that it's defo value for money, we will be back at some point for another stay.

User

Just back for four nights there amazing place owner is very nice loads of walks for my dogs only down side we had sheep round the cabin so couldn't let my dogs outside much to chill with us in the sun part from that had a lovely time

User

I have stayed here 4 times! Once over xmas and it's just amazing!! My parents have also been twice and I've just recommended it to a friend who is staying in a few weeks! I'll defo be back too!!! Ill try not to leave my handbag next time and avoid the 4 hour drive back up to get it lol!!

User

Heading home from a magical weekend, we stayed in Scotsview, the newest lodge, and found it very well appointed, the views are stunning and the owners were on hand and can't do enough to help. We will be back!

User

Have just returned from an excellent weekend based at the Lodges had spoken to the owners on Thurs just before travelling to confirm all was OK and arrived Fri. the lodge is excellent warm, clean and welcoming. there is loads of room and with fresh linen and everything else that was provided really made our break. no snow at Glenshee therefore walking up the nearby glens was the order of the day this finished by plenty time in the Hot tub then a stint in the Sauna then washed in the Spa bath. all great will hopefully be returning soon thanks again for a well deserved rest.

User

Fabulous lodge with amazing scenery! Stayed midweek and loved it. Hot tub on a cold dark evening was just the perfect way to relax after walking during the day. If your looking for a nice break then look no further than here

User

Currently staying in the clashmore lodge and having a great time. Lodge has everything you need and very clean. Hot tub is amazing. Views are spectacular and it's so quiet and relaxing reasonably priced and will be booking again soon

User

Comfortable lodges (we had Benearb) twice).....loved the hot tub, plenty privacy too. Dark skies in November = amazing stars. It's a special place for us as it was our first weekend away together. Will be back this year hopefully

User

We have just returned from a lovely week at Benearb. The cabin was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Hot tub/sauna was most welcome after a long dog walk. Our only comment would be to make the electricity costs clearer on the website - it wasn't *too* bad, but some people could be in for a nasty shock! Ours was approx. £65 for the week. We will return to the area. Finally, to the lovely man who helped us find our dog when she took off in pursuit of a rabbit at 9 pm - THANKYOU, it was an awful 45 minutes thinking she had got lost in the dark and snow, and I'm not sure we would have found her so quickly without your help.

User

Fabulous stay in Scotview cottage. Cosy, cute, well equipped with views to take your breath away. We did some easy walks, exploring the surroundings and it was perfect given the weather was changeable and we didn't want to venture too far from the cottage. We were lucky that it even snowed on one of the days that we were there - it made the whole area look so magical. We felt like we had our own private winter wonderland. We also drove to Lin O Dee which is a spectacular drive and definitely worth a visit. The hot tub was great for relaxing although the water got luke warm as the temperature dropped. The sauna was a great value add too.

Just worth noting - electricity is charged by units, so it is a good idea to manage your consumption carefully as otherwise it can get expensive. Mobile data coverage is GPRS only. It works but is very slow. Wifi is available at extra cost but again extremely slow.

User

Just returned from a weekend here and will not be back. The cabin was freezing cold with only one tiny heater in the bedroom which resulted in the whole cabin being extremely damp to the point where the bed was cold and damp to the touch despite us paying £12 for 1.5 days of electricity. Hot tub also had damp smell to it. Complete rip off for £255 for 2 nights as you can't get in till after 4 and out before 10am. We contemplated leaving on the Saturday night we hated it that much we left before 8am on Sunday morning and have had to wash everything due to the smell of damp which has attached itself to our belongings. Would not recommend to anyone!!
