Morning folks, well got upto a wee bit of snow this morning, but roads are ok, and fishery open. Cheers

Hi folks. We started the week with some nice weather, fish were on the top and feeding and some good sport was to be had on drys. J,Milne and I,Christie had a cracking day on Tuesday deciding to take the boat out, finished with 26ret a good few dropped and missed. Most of the lads stuck to floating lines even on the rougher days. Drys, buzzers, diawl bachs, blood worms, and a mixture of lures all taking fish. Some of the catches for the last week. B,Fletcher 8ret G,Fleming 1...2ret J,Milne & I,Christie 26ret B,Hope 7&31/2 claiming the 1/2 cause he dropped it at the net 😂 M,Ried 10 and 8ret A,McBride 6ret J,Mcivor 6ret 2brownies B,Duffy 2fish 6.4lb 4ret J,Tumilty 2fish 5.4lb Dougie 2fish 5lb A,Liggit 5ret A good few catches between 1and 4 fish Cheers

Weather not to bad at the moment, don't know how long it will last though.

Hi folks, a drop in temperature and 25mph s/w wind made fishing a bit harder at the start of the week, fish moved more into the middle of the loch with 1-4 fish being the reward after some hard work, 2nd half same wind, slightly warmer fish back to taking drys, you just can't make it up, overall different conditions for the lads to contend with. Hi folks. The wind has made for some interesting fishing at Glenburn this week, some of the lads found it hard going whilst others managed to cope with the strong blustery conditions. Fish are high in the water, with some of the lads fishing Drys in a big wave having some good sport. Lime green cdc's, humpies. Today Ben totally frustrated fishing a humpie had 20+ fish rise to and follow his fly with no result, then finally hooking and returning 3. A lot of the lads getting l...ots of hits and dropping a good number of fish. Floating lines midge tip @ intermediate. Cdc's, humpies, muddler minnow, h.h damsel, mini damsels, white rabbits, diawl bachs, buzzers. Some catches for last week. Wee update, snow all away and loch ice free

Morning folks, beautiful morning, moor rd passable, wully has gritted dodgy bits, loch same as yesterday, only 6 pegs clear of ice. Couple of lads on just now. Cheers

A further update, road improving fast, still a couple of dodgy bits but hopefully will be clear by morning if not lunchtime. A big thank you to Alastair, Nick, and not forgetting Alison for making sure things ran smoothly.

Morning folks sorry for the delay, wully just of the phone. Moor road still a bit dodgy but passable with care, only a couple of platforms on green bank fishable, and 4 platforms in front of the hut. Wully there just getting fire on to get some heat into the hut. He says he will stay up untill 1 o'clock if nobody comes in, once again we apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. Hopefully the thaw will come soon. And of course we'll keep you updated. Cheers

Morning folks, well we're sorry to say that fishery will be closed again today, moor rd is badly impacted with ice and impassable, so for health and safety reasons we have taken this decision. Will keep you posted

Morning folks a wee update. Loch free from platform 1 to boat jetty. Shallows and bait pond frozen. A78 clear not sure about moor rd coming from dalry. Cheers

Well we've had some cold day's this week, rod rings freezing, fingers freezing but overall the fishing hasn't been to bad. Fish are still high in the water. Today started flat calm, fish moving all over. Danny was no sooner started and was into fish working buzzers then the came on and mist came down and the fish switched off. Sun eventually came out and fish switched on again. T,Harvey came in, first time in year's and finished on 8. The usual buzzers, diawl bachs, blood wo...rms and lures. B,Adams 7ret, 1 at 10lb est.
