First class service, purchased a car from here the other week and cannot recommend the garage more - great service and a great experience, will definately be back when my son passes his test

We aren’t ones for writing reviews especially bad ones but after the experience here today it most certainly calls for one. My partner and myself bought 2 new cars and planned our day to pick them both up in one journey.... we travelled 5 hours down and when we got to the first garage in Glasgow... absolutely outstanding service, first class from start to finish. Then we travelled to yourselves... the best way I can describe the experience is when you hear of people on a dating site falling for the picture online, travelling to meet them... only to realise how many sins a photo can actually hide and you are then faced with the ugly sister. Disappointed and annoyed doesn’t really come close to describing how we both felt. But your salesperson does deserve a special mention, I mean to make you feel so unwelcome, to make you feel an inconvenience to him for being there and be such a rude, arrogant and condescending man all in the first moment of meeting takes some doing but clearly he is top of his class at that. Between the car and his attitude there was no way we would have taken the deal and got our deposit back. Thankfully it wasn’t a complete waste of day and we purchased another car on the way home... from a reputable car garage. The only thing I would recommend about this garage is the road past it.

I've only walked past . There is a good selection of used cars for sale . From £1,000 to £20,000 .

got a 2009 skoda superb from brian at glenfield cars couldn't be more pleased top marks car was 100% . i travailed over from belfast car was as describe. wont hesitate going back for my daughters car after xmas thank glenfield see ya soon

Bought a car from them last week, a blue Volvo V50, and traded in my car. Was offered a brilliant price for my car, and received a brill car in return! Had a little hiccup with a problem with the turbo within the first week, but car was taken back up to them and work was carried out quickly and efficiently under the warranty to remedy the problem! Car was returned to us promptly! Always nice to be faced with such friendly, welcoming faces who are always eager to get you the best service possible! Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will continue to shop for used cars with Glenfield!

Could not have had better service

It is refreshing to meet genuine old fashioned type sales people who I could see very busy ( phone constantly ringing ) but made me feel comfortable

It is a little daunting being a single woman and having to buy your own car ,however I could not have been happier as how I was treated,

I left my deposit and was told car would be ready within the week as it was to be serviced ,mot,d and driven

Traded a Renault Espace in against a Renault Laguna GT a few years ago. A week of so after using the Laguna is developed a gearbox fault. Took it back to Glenfield and true to their word they had the issue fixed and sent it to a mechanic in Hurlford for the remedial work to be carried out. A few weeks later the gearbox started playing up and I took it to my own mechanic to diagnose the issue. It turned out that the mechanic in Hurlford neglected to put oil in the new gearbox running gear and the box had burnt out and stopped working. Very few garages will touch a Laguna gearbox or fly wheel due to it being too labour intensive. The upshot was that Glenfield were no longer willing to accept liability for the substandard work of their contractor and within a six month period the car that I bought for £3995 was sold by myself as scrap for £750. Would I use them again, definitely not!!

Great to see there are still straightforward old fashioned dealers still selling cars , not a pretty place but cars all seemed well presented and well priced , older type sales guys who knew their stuff
