Gleniffer Outreach

Gleniffer Outreach is a new information and support centre opened by the ACCORD Hospice on the grounds of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

The Gleniffer Outreach is part of ACCORD Hospice and is based on the grounds of Royal Alexandra Hospital. We work as a drop in, information and support centre. We aim to provide you with the correct information with regards to your illness or that of a family member or friend.

Although the hospice supports people directly with their palliative care needs, they can still drop in to the centre from diagnosis onwards - for example, those who are receiving 'curative' treatment for cancer can still access information, and we can signpost them to other services who can help with their needs.

The centre is very welcoming and 'non-clinical', staffed by a coordinator and a team of experienced volunteers who are always on hand to offer a cup of tea and a listening ear.

We encourage people to drop in if they are attending a hospital appointment, visiting a loved one, undergoing or finishing treatment for cancer, have had a recurrence of illness or been bereaved.

We also welcome people to drop in to simply find out more about the free services we have on offer. No appointment necessary - we are open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
