I always sit outside with my dog when I go there. The staff are friendly and helpful, the view is great and the food is fantastic (even if I just have a coffee and a cake). The only drawback is that dogs are allowed in any of the inside bits. That's a shame as it stops me from visiting on anything less than a lovely day. If you were able to take your dogs into just 1 of the inside seating areas, I would visit more often and have given it 5 stars.

Service and food excellent. Only downside was lack of staff on the day we Went, slowed service down. That said, those who were working were amazing and super friendly!

We saw online the menu for the Glenisle Hotel restaurant and impressed we looked forward to a family meal when on holiday.

Arriving we ordered four drinks:- a 330ml can of non-alcoholic Ginger Beer, a small house red wine, a 500ml bottle of Arran Dark Ale and a small house wine with a touch of lemonade. We were charged exactly £20, yes twenty pounds!

We left without ordering a meal and will never return here, to fund such gross, sadly seemingly legal, profiteering.

Moving on to a hotel in Brodick for our meal we bought the same drinks and were charged £8.

Reasonable priced bistro. The food was lovely. Portions were just right. On a nice day you can eat outside with braw view of the Holy Isle. When you are on Arran and are looking for a good evening meal then this place you should think about going to.

Wonderful setting. Comfortable rooms - go for one at the front, as the view is breathtaking. Excellent food and service. Platters of smoked meats and fish particularly good.

Stopped in for a drink on Hogmanay afternoon after a drive round the island. Lovely small lounge area with roaring log fire very welcoming on a dreich day. Nice selection of local beers and wines from around the world. Expect to pay Edinburgh/London prices for a glass of wine but nevertheless we enjoyed our stop here. Would consider staying in the hotel on another visit to Arran.
