Updated: under new management. Portion sizes smaller. Noticeable drop in quality. Can no longer recommend.
Hello, been ordering from GOA for over 4 years now, everytime food was excellent, from time to time delivery was taking ages but tasty meal made you forget about it. Ordered today , we had lamb and chicken, unfortunately instead of lamb we have chicken, sauces not as nice as use to,naan bread not as nice as use to, chicken dry. Really disappointing :(
Excellent value for money and consistent meal quality.
Having spent 3 weeka in Goa, eating Goan food - I was disappointed to discover that these guys have taken the nuclear approach to their cuisine. I regularly eat a Phal, Tindaloo or Vindaloo but their is no need for a Bhuna or Madras to be so hot as to draw tears. Save your money and go to Grace of India in Aberlady instead. Ouch my poor defenceless mouth!
Best Indian food in the local area. Service in the shop is quick but you can wait a long time for a delivery.
We ordered:
Onion Bhaji
Vegetable Samosas
Chicken Tikka Massalam
Chicken Korma
Pilau Rice
Garlic Nan
A conservative estimate would be to say that I am 900% positive that the chicken was fake chicken. A first. And last.
The sauces for both chicken dishes were the brightest I have ever seen. I'm pretty sure they used Stabilo Boss highlighter ink to flavour them.
I would recommend to Goa to another restaurant.
Rubbish food, rubbish service.
