Golden Bird

Great food, i love the cheese-n-burger, but it's pot luck if they get the order right if you ask for it to be delivered. Last night my chips were cold and the burger wasn't on a roll which soaks up the flavour and makes it much tastier. I recommend picking the order up so you know what you're getting.

Has excelent chips n cheese n curry sause

Waited nearly an hour for delivery. Pizzas arrived and one must have been dropped on its side as one half of the pizza was just base and all the topping was over the other side of the box. Chicken pakora was dry and stringy. Chips were rank. Would not recommend...such a waste of money

Tasty! Admittedly not been here for for a long time however will be frequenting the Golden bird in the future.
A well earned 5 stars for presentation, courtesy and service and of course quality.

Great takeaway, the chef is always proud of his food and you can see why. Always tasty and good value for money, in the evening there is usually plenty of space to park outside.

Arrived about 1900 on a Thursday and the shop was empty but one person was rushing around doing everything. We were asked to wait for 10 mins though this was a bit under the actual time. When our meal was served another person came out of the back to serve it!

The fish was fine but the chips were pale and under-done. Not sure I would use the shop again.

stunning fish suppers. thats all i know as an out of towner. 4 fridays in a row. consistently gorgeous beautiful fish and braw braw chips.
