Thomas and Isla's flock of Valais Blacknose sheep was founded on 30th may 2016 with the purchase of 2 full Swiss imports and 2 full Swiss bred females. the sheep are located at Townfoot Farm, Mouswald, near Dumfries in South West Scotland.
The Goldie family have a reputation built up over 40 + years of breeding and selling top quality stock which regularly top National and International shows and sales. They have experience of exporting cattle, sheep, semen and embryos Worldwide including North America, Australasia, Africa and Europe.

Getting back to normal after an amazing family holiday In Barcelona and on a Mediteranean cruise- fantastic fun and great memories made!
Another superb four days showing Zwartbles at The Royal Highland Show. Thomas and Isla had two fifths in the zwartble classes and both competed in the Young Handlers section.
Thomas won the Under 10 sheep Young Handlers and was Reserve Overall Champion. Very proud oif them both. They have great enthusiasm for their sheep!
New arrival on the farm last week- Alpine Fancy That- a super Valais blacknose ewe lamb to join our flock!
STOP PRESS- Goldies Valais Blacknose are delighted to announce that we have exported over 50 embryos to New Zealand for use by three breeders and wish them every success in their new venture!
