Something new/different that I have been experimenting with for a while now, I finally roped my husband in to helping out with the sanding and oiling side of this project and I love the finished product! These pieces are made from whiskey barrel staves - I have made some using landscape images and they can be personalised using your own family images. I will also be offering these as part of my portrait sessions. The staves are ready to be mounted to the wall or they stand al...one perfectly on shelves/window ledges etc. These are landscape style but look great in portrait as well. The candle holders make a beautiful centre piece for your dining table and we have a pegged one for people that may want to change it up a bit! These pieces are handmade and order times will be dependant on the amount we have to make - in other words if you would like something made for an occasion soon donŌĆÖt hang about! Gift vouchers are also available.

Being involved with #itsgood2give gives me an enormous feeling of satisfaction - I feel proud to provide whatever I can to such a worthy cause. Providing practical support to people going through the hardest time of their lives is the purest form of kindness. Many of the families I have met to date are just amazed at the kindness of strangers and peopleŌĆÖs willingness to do something, anything to lighten an unimaginable load.

I am very fortunate and grateful for my opportunity to volunteer my skills to It's Good 2 Give! . The charity has just received the Queens Award for voluntary service which is of course massive acknowledgement for the work undertaken by everyone involved. My motivation to work with the charity may not be from a selfish stand point but thereŌĆÖs no getting away from that feeling of joy and calm that comes from spreading kindness, that cannot be bought!
