Can we take a minute to admire our new gate? This gate will open up green space to the hundreds of people that use our centre a week and the green space we now have access to is amazing.
Thank you to our friends at Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust & Out & About for funding this and opening up green space to our centre users.

128 of us have arrived at Lochore Park for a day full of fun for al the family!

We are really sorry, but with hundreds of people registered and thousands of opportunities taken up. Our programme & waiting lists are now full.
Registration opened in June and our centre based sessions can only take 80 people per session.
For anyone who missed out there may still be some opportunities with our friends at Gilmerton Community Centre or Valley Park Community Centre

The girls group out enjoying a day at Colourbomb after 3 days group programme.

The 3 day girls programme ended today with them exploring the impact society, popular culture and the pressures media has on their wellbeing. They explored how best to challenge this.
They also stayed back after the group, to help put the centre back together in preparation for Monday.
When we see sexism, we stand up! 💪🏼

Getting some long jump practice in for the youth work games this evening.

Day 2 of our girls programme had lots of great dialogues. They explored different scenarios and solutions aimed at helping them to keep safe in challenging situations.
Great feedback from the girls who are keen to have their own space long term in the centre. Watch this space.

Fantastic start to our girls group yesterday afternoon. The girls looked at current issues and explored how best to keep themselves safe In difficult situations.
