We have been moving steadily over the years to becoming a Church that is real. We have seen a growing trust and openness amongst us developing and there is a real desire to be honest with each other and supportive of one another. Our worship has become much more interactive and informal, and blends the best of the past and the present in a contemporary style. We desire people to go from here having felt that people noticed them as individuals and above all that Jesus loves them unconditionally and wants to bring them in to an intimate relationship with God.

We treasure the gospel of Jesus and look to share it freely by word and action with all who will receive it. We have done so not just through Sunday services but through small groups, prayer times, children’s groups, holiday clubs, schools’ work, Alpha courses, womens’ meetings, outreach activities, night shelters for the homeless and the care van for those on our streets. It is wonderful to see people who may suffer from low self-esteem, or who feel isolated and forgotten by people in the world find a sense of belonging and being valued for who they are through Jesus.

We recently united with another Church.
The Congregations of Gorgie Dalry Parish Church and of Stenhouse St. Aiden’s Parish Church were officially unified on the 1st of January 2016. Though unified, the two congregations continue, at present, to worship in their respective church buildings. There is a service at Stenhouse St. Aidens every Sunday also at 11: 00, they meet in the Edgar hall, opposite Kwik Fit on Chesser Avenue.
