The results are out today. What an amazing achievement for every one who entered.
In 2014, I entered the competition, little did I know at the time about the prestige and how tough it was to even get one star. So, when the Guild of Fine Foods rang to say I was one of the lucky ones to get 3 stars, I literally fell off my chair. I am so proud of it though because Gourmandises has always been about taste.

Understated luxury! Elegant, vibrant and exquisite desserts is what I truly love making. Nothing beats a dessert bursting with flavour. Two months ago, when the whole world had its eyes pierced on the Royal Wedding, the lovely Jen from Raspberry Bespoke Events set out to organise a Royal Tea Party with a careful selection of suppliers (Flower and flour for the Floristry, Ananya cards and Wedding Day Hire) and the super talented Rupa Photography behinds the lens. Happy first wedding anniversary to Freddy and James today. This is by far my favourite picture of your wedding, guests clapping and yes arguing who's gonna get the biggest piece. Opera gateau, one of our most popular cake. And you can understand why. Traditionally made with a coffee meringue buttercream, here at Gourmandises we're happy for you to choose. This one is a very chocolaty one. Just perfect as part of a wedding dessert table or a milestone celebration.

Bonsoir, I am super excited to share with you this new adventure, my own cooking school. The patisserie remains and stays strong but this is an opportunity for me to share all my culinary heritage, not just the sweet stuff. Beautiful wedding dessert table for the wedding of Sûˋverine and Alastair over the weekend. Do you still want a tiered cake when you can have such a beautiful choice of desserts! Croquembouche, opûˋras gateaux, summer berries cake, lemon and orange all made with delicious, spongy genoise.

Twenty years later.... Just a reminder that fame does not happen over night, it takes hard work and determination to get there. Bravo to the young Croatian who thought to the end, you are champions too, you never gave up. Whatever your dream is, go and get it. It might take a few shots but give it a try.

We were looking for something a bit different for our wedding cake and Corrine didn't disappoint. We had a beautiful three tiered naked cake filled with chocolate ganache and butter cream that was just out of this world. The cake looked absolutely fantastic and Corrine was a pleasure to work with throughout, I would highly recommend x

Thank you so much for the fantastic choux that you did for us last weekend. These are my dad's favourite cakes so I ordered them for his 70th. He loved them and said they were just as nice as the ones from his favourite patisserie in France. Quite a compliment from a connoisseur!! Will definitely order some more!

Corinne provided our wedding cake, we wanted something a bit different and we love French baking so this was perfect! We had a two tier French opera cake and dozens on French tartlettes, our guests loved them and Corinne was a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much!

Corinne made a naked cake for our wedding. She is so flexible with what you want and such a lovely lady. We knew straight away we wanted to get our cake from her! Our cake tasted absolutely incredible and looked stunning. She decorated it with macaroons chocolate and flowers to match our theme. We had so many compliments on the day. Thank you so much Corinne!! Corinne is absolutely amazing! She creates masterpieces that are almost too good to eat... Until you try them and then you just have to eat them all! She created a stunning collection of cakes for our wedding reception and despite ordering more than required there was nothing left at the end of the evening. Beautiful! Highly recommended, friendly, professional, inspired. Perfect!

Corinne is a very talented lady indeed. I asked her to make me a macaron tower for my wedding. I asked for them to be rose flavoured to tie in with my wedding flowers which consisted of only roses. They looked and tasted absolutely incredible, I couldn't be more pleased with them. My only negative comment is that her bakery is too far away from me so I cannot work my way through her delicious cakes!
