With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our past president Graham Hughes. Our thoughts are with Flora and all the extended family at this sad time. Funeral service is private due to government restrictions. A service in celebration of Graham's life will be held at a later date. RIP our friend.
If there is any of our members or friends out there unable to get shopping due to self isolating give us a shout. Are you in the most vulnerable group please dont sit in silence contact us on here and messanger and we can assist. Dear Member
As you are all probably aware by now that the government has imposed restrictions on clubs, pubs & restaurants etc., due to the corona-virus outbreak, (COVID-19) therefor the committee has had no option but to close the club premises in accordance with this instruction.
Unfortunately the knock on effect of this instruction is that the official opening will be postponed until further notice.
The committee & sub-committee's will review the the restrictions imposed on the club at the end of each month in accordance with the guidance issued by the government at that time.
We hope that the close down will not be too long and that a shortened season may be possible later in the year.
We trust that all members understand our position as the closure is for the health and well being of all our members which is of paramount importance.
May I ask you to spread by word of mouth/phone to those members who are not on my email list.
I will update you when the committee are in a position to advise on any changes issued by the government.

Due to current health warning issues we have decided to postpone the race night due to take place on Friday 20th March. All people who have sponsored races purchased tickets or horses will be able to use these on our rescheduled race night. Anybody wanting a refund or further information please contact Keith Haslam 07866706244 or Alan Airth 07894 136132. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but truly appreciate the support shown from our members and friends. After their sudden lose Graeme, Jill and Rhona would like to invite all members and friends from near and far to join them at Greenock Crematorium on Friday 20th March at 12pm to celebrate the life of their dear father Archie Clement.
Its with heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of our Honorary Member and Past President Archie Clement. Our thoughts are with Graeme, Jill, Rhona and the extended family at this time. Archie held various positions within the club working and assisting until fairly recently, Archie's passing is a big loss to us all at Gourck Bc. Rest Easy Archie.
Less than 2 weeks to go all horses are sold thanks to all those who purchased these. Theres still tickets available for the night itself priced at £2-50 available at the bar or by contacting K Haslam or A Airth. All those who have tickets please remember and bring them along on the night to be entered into a prize draw. Race night starts 7-30pm light buffet will be provided and a disco afterwards.
