Many of us experience unwanted frown lines and lines around the eyes as we age. GR-aesthetics aims to reduce these lines by injecting tiny amounts of a protein known as Botulinum toxin (botox ) to certain areas of the face. It is a simple procedure, tiny amounts are injected into the muscle which helps to relax it and therefore reduce the lines. The procedure itself does not take long however does require a face to face consultation before treatment is commenced.
The results appear anything between 24-72 hours but then keep working for up to 14 days which is why a 2 week follow up is recommended. The treatment can last anything between 3 - 6 months.
Side effects are minimal, as with any injection site tiny bruises may appear and redness around injection site in some people.


Dermal fillers are also available. These are for the lower half of the face. They are injected superficially under the skin to fill the lines from the nose running to the mouth. These are known as nasolabial lines. The cheeks to give enhancement and the lips to provide definition and enhancement. The fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance lost from out skin as we age. A treatment with Restylane or Juverderm fillers will help to restore your skin's youthful appearance, leaving you to look the way you feel.

Skin Boosters - The face, neck, décolletage and hands are all guilty of showing the signs of ageing. These areas are exposed to the external elements - the sun, the wind etc. The skin can become dull, wrinkled and dry. This is due to the depleted levels of hyaluronic acid. A course of skin boosters can help with this. Normally 3 sessions 2-3 weeks apart.

Obagi radiance blue peel also available as a course of 3-4 sessions or as a one off around winter time to brighten and tighten the skin.
