Gracemount Bodybuilding Gym was established in 2005 and opened its doors to the public in 2008. It has now expanded to incorporate a fully equipped cage area for MMA and other martial arts related pursuits.
Gracemount Bodybuilding Gym Description
Gracemount gym has been established since 2005. However, it only opened its doors to the public in 2008. It is owned and managed by Rab & Brian. It is home to a wealth of equipment and is sometimes described as one of Edinburgh’s ‘hardcore’ gyms. Our gym is a private gym, used by those who are serious in their training, no matter their discipline. As well as comprehensive resistance equipment, 10lb dumbbells to 80kg dumbbells, we have our own 4m x 3m matted cage, a range of punch bags and cardio equipment. Our gym is staffed and open for use 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Evenings during the week are open if their are members (which there always are). We cannot guarantee weekend entry. There are a number of key fob holders who are trusted by us to keep an eye on things so usually one or more key holders are in the gym between 9am and 10pm weekdays. Keys are not issued on membership. Our gym is only £2 per session or £20 per month for the time being. Use of the gym is simple, pay on entry, always strip bars after use and keep tidy, respect the equipment, keep good manners and all will be well. The gym has cameras covering all locations inside and out so personal belongings are safe. However, we accept zero liability of any sort for any incidents to yourself or your possessions. We implement a ‘Train at Your Own Risk’ policy. However, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. What can I say ? The place is rocking , the clientele are a fun bunch of people who train hard and are willing to help . The staff are fantastic and on hand with training advice along with nutrional ideas to help you out of bad diet habits . Big thumbs up !!!
Love this no nonsense gym! Real equipment and real people. Drove passed for years and feared trying out - big mistake! I love this place everyone makes you so welcome and happy to assist each other. Great banter too.
I do alot of traveling about and have yet to attend a gym like this one. Has been my go to gym for years and I have always been welcomed whenever I return. Staff are great and facilities are just what you need for a proper workout. Would recommend to anyone.
Has everything you need in a gym. I have been to a few commercial gyms over the years, I feel these gyms give me a feeling of being a visitor and never overly welcome. This gym offers a no frills approach as well a welcoming atmosphere not found in many gyms.
