As a grandparent of a child with Cancer, I joined a support group that my daughter was a member of. I found it to be a great source of comfort and a place to share laughter and tears. It became apparent though, that some parents felt that they couldn't express their deepest fears and thoughts because of the distress it might cause their parents, who were also members. As a direct result of this, I realised that Grandparents also needed a place to vent their fears and frustration at not being able to help their children through such a traumatic time.
